The Healing Pollinator Garden is beginning to take shape.

Located in the heart of the community at 116 N 7th, Canon City, Colorado, this garden is being developed as a living space for restoration, education, and connection. Its purpose reaches beyond planting flowers. It is designed to support pollinators, strengthen local biodiversity, and offer a place where people can pause, learn, and reconnect with the natural rhythms that sustain both land and life.

This project is made possible in part through the generous support of the People and Pollinators Action Network, along with the generosity of Gary and Mindy Minor, whose willingness to offer a portion of their property as the site for the garden and a place for this vision to take root within the community.

Early work days are underway, with scheduled gatherings taking place on:

  • April 10th, 10am

  • Week of April 12th, tentative, weather permitting

  • April 24, 10am

  • May 9th, from 9:00am

These initial days focus on preparing the space, shaping the layout, and beginning the planting process.

We invite you to follow the journey and become part of a growing community centered on stewardship, learning, and shared purpose.
